Anastasia and David said Yes!
We’re
Engaged!
Our Story
After being dumped on Valentine’s Day 2018, Tasha texted David, knowing he would make her laugh. They went out for drinks the very next day, February 15, 2018. They talked and laughed for hours, and finishing the night with a romantic dinner at In-n-Out.
While Tasha was on a trip to Australia a few weeks later, David realized that he actually had feelings for her. On April 1, 2018, he texted her telling her to “check her Facebook.” When she did, she saw her relationship status was changed to “in a relationship with David Cadwallader.” Only David had the gumption to change their status on April Fool’s Day.
Two years later, for her birthday, David took Tasha to New Orleans. They fell in love with the city and saw many wedding parties and parades while in The Big Easy.
Currently, they are still on the world’s longest “sympathy date,” and appropriately will be tying the knot on April Fool’s Day 2021!
October 10, 2020, We Said Yes!
Anastasia said “Yes, DEER!” on a hunting trip.

About David
David Cadwallader was conceived on April 1, 1986 in a motorhome, and subsequently born that same year. Per David, his status is “currently still living, miraculously.”
After graduating from Carson High School, David became a fireman and worked for various departments throughout Northern Nevada. Looking for a change, he interviewed with Chunkendales in Reno. He was told he was too svelte.
Douglas County Sheriff’s Department took pity on David and offered him the opportunity to serve Nevada residents; he has been with the agency for 13 years. David is an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
The one thing David loves more than Tasha, his family or little Buddy, is laughter, the smell of gun powder and explosions.
